Our goal:
Support members with cancer and reduce cancer risk in the fire service
Taking Action Against Cancer learning objectives:
- immediate actions to reduce occupational cancer risk
- how the Firefighter Cancer Support Network can help firefighters cope with cancer
- to promote a culture of safety and fitness
- the importance of the tactical athlete mindset in reducing cancer, heart disease, and injuries
Train-the-Trainer objectives:
- Find new trainers to present local/regional courses
- Gain the skills and background to teach this course
